change and reason

The urge to change is something that should not be suppressed in order to impress other people. Change is usually not without reason and carries with it enough power and potential to exert a corresponding influence, which enables one to adjust various circumstances with which one is dissatisfied. In the end, people like you the way you are, and this includes the fact that you change over time. Everything changes all the time, and if you start to reject something that actually impresses you, you will inevitably find over time that it will change you as well, but not necessarily to your advantage, because you will be standing in your own way. This is probably a kind of irony of change. You simply cannot stop change.
